CILICIA. Anazarbus. Time of Trajan, 98-117. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.76 g, 12 h), year ϚKP = 126 = 107/8. ΕΤΟΥC / ϚΚΡ in two lines within a laurel wreath with ties below. Rev. ΚΑΙCΑΡΕΩΝ ΠΡ ΑΝΑΖΑΡ Three corn ears bound together. RPC 3368. Ziegler Ergänzungen 2. Very rare, only three examples recorded in the RPC. Clear and with attractive tan surfaces. Nearly very fine.



The way the coin is minted shows that the obverse is the one bearing the date within the wreath, in contrary with the way it is illustrated in RPC.
