PISIDIA. Antiochia. Antonine Period, 138-192. 1/3 Assarion (Bronze, 13.5 mm, 1.48 g, 7 h). ANTIO-C Draped bust of Hermes to left; caduceus behind. Rev. CO-LONI-A Rooster standing to right. BMC 1. RPC online 7350 SNG Paris 1067. SNG von Aulock 4916. Very fine.

The portrait of Hermes looks particularly Severan in flavour: in fact, very much like Geta Caesar. While traditionally dated to the period of the Antonines, the serie might well have extended on into the early Severan period.
