PHRYGIA. Laodicea ad Lycum. Time of Tiberius, 14-37. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.20 g, 1 h), struck under the magistrate Dioskourides. ΛΑΟΔΙ-ΚΕΩΝ Laureate and draped bust of Mên to right, set on crescent, wearing a highly decorated Phrygian cap and a torque. Rev. ΚΟΡ ΔΙΟΣΚΟΥΡΙΔΗΣ Eagle with spread wings standing facing to right, on club, turning his head backwards. BMC 64. RPC I 2907. SNG Copenhagen 513-4. Brown-gold surfaces. Good very fine.
