AEOLIS. Aegae. Antonine Period, 138-192. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 19 mm, 2.95 g, 6 h). E• OYΛ• ΠOΛEMAIO Draped bust of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. [AIΓ]-EΩN Heracles, nude but cloak falling from his left hand, standing facing, crowning himself with his right hand and holding transversed club with his left. Unpublished in the standard references. Same dies as Naumann 68 (2018), 245 there as uncertain Asia Minor. Very fine.
