MYSIA. Attaea. Trajan, 98-117. Assarion (Bronze, 20.5 mm, 5.03 g, 12 h), struck under the proconsul Q. Vibius Secundus, c. 101-103. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Ν-ΕΡ ΤΡΑ CΕΒ Laureate head of Trajan to right. Rev. ΕΠΙ ΑΝΘ CΕΚΟΥΝ ΑΤΤΑΙΤΩΝ Zeus standing facing, head to left, holding thunderbolt with his extended right hand and long sceptre with his left; at his feet to right, eagle to right turning his head back, to face Zeus. RPC 1752. SNG Paris 141. Very rare. A few uncleaned deposits, otherwise, very fine.
