BITHYNIA. Apamea. Severan Period, 193-235. Assarion (Bronze, 21 mm, 6.64 g, 6 h). Draped bust of Serapis to right. Rev. River god reclining to right, holding reed and resting his right elbow on an inverted vase from which water flows. BMC 129. SNRIS Apamea 02. Same dies as G&M 247 (2017), 4484. Very rare. Some roughness on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
