ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Head of Alexander III to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. KOIΝ ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝ Β ΝΕΩΚΟΡ / BΕΡΟΙΑΙΩΝ Alexander riding Bucephalus to left, hurling spear from his upraised right hand. AMNG 867. Extremely rare with the city name. Attractive brown tone. With some rough areas mainly on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.



One of the very few Koinon issues bearing the name of Beroia.
