MACEDON. Amphipolis. Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Diassarion (Bronze, 25 mm, 8.72 g, 7 h). ΑΥΤ ΚΑ Μ ΑΥ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟC Laureate and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from the back. Rev. ΑΜΦΙΠΟ-ΛΕΙΤΩΝ Tyche seated to left on backless throne, holding patera in her extended right hand. RPC online 7652. SNG Copenhagen 106. Clearly struck, and with a nice green-brown patina . Very fine.

From a Swiss collection acquired from Bank Leu before 2008.
