Bust of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with griffin . Rev. ΑΠΑΜΕΩΝ ΦAINIΠΠOY ΔPAKONTOΣ Eagle landing on a base with a maeander pattern, flanked by the caps of the Dioskouroi; behind eagle's head, star. BMC 97. HGC 7, 670. SNG Copenhagen 167. Glossy dark green patina overlaid by earthen deposits; fine style. Nearly extremely fine.
