IONIA. Teos. Circa 460-420 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.37 g). Griffin seated to right, his left forepaw raised; to his right, astragalos. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Balcer 117. Apparently unpublished with this symbol, but struck from the same obverse die as Naumann 78, 2019, 311. Very rare. Nicely toned, well-struck and well-centered. Very fine.
