Rev. 5 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ /(owl) 1844 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 10d. Karamitsos 113. KM 20. CYPRUS. Kition. Baalmelek II, circa 425-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 11.07 g, 3 h). Herakles in fighting stance to right, wearing lion skin, holding club overhead in right hand and bow extended before him in left hand. Rev. Lion attacking stag right; all within dotted border within incuse square. BMC 35. SNG Copenhagen 9-10. Tziambazis 19. Struck from somewhat worn dies and traces of overstriking (on a turtle-stater from Aegina), otherwise, very fine.
