Ex ACR 6, 10 December 2012, 733.

This sestertius was struck from particularly finely engraved dies. The totally epigraphic reverse is fully in the Augustan tradition, well known from the similar designs on the sestertii produced by Augustus's moneyers. As for the obverse, its engraver managed to produce a die of great elegance; other known examples from this die pair include CNG MBS 66, 2004, 1343 and NAC 72, 2013, 581.
