THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-337 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 9.30 g, 7 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to the left, with her hair bound in an ampyx. Rev. ΛΑΡΙ-Σ-AΙΩΝ (the last four letters retrograde) Bridled horse prancing to right; below, boukranion. BCD II 387.4. HGC 4, 517. Rogers 276. Brown patina; struck on a broad flan. Very fine.
