THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 5.77 g, 12 h). Thessalos, with cloak and petasos over his shoulders, leaping left, both feet off the ground, holding a rushing bull by a band around its head. Rev. ΛAPI-ΣAIA Bridled horse galloping to right; all within shallow incuse square. BCD II 174 (but same obverse die as 173). A nice and clear coin. Horn silver on the reverse, and with somewhat porous surfaces, otherwise, very fine.
