BRUTTIUM. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. Circa 350-275 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 7.71 g, 2 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind, thunderbolt. Rev. Λ-Ο-Κ-Ρ-Ω-Ν Eagle standing left with spread wings, tearing at a dead hare held in its talons. HN III 2328. SNG ANS 520. Attractively toned, nicely struck and clear. Some flatness on the upper obverse surfaces, otherwise, about extremely fine.
