Andronicus II Palaeologus, 1282-1328. Trachy (Copper, 23.5 mm, 1.42 g, 6 h), Thessalonica, 1282-1295. Large patriarchal cross with wing to right; retrograde B on the left field. Rev. Andronicus standing facing, holding cross-in-circle and scepter; above left, Palaeologean monogram; on the lower right, star. DOC 804-6. LPC 218,22. PCPC 243. SB 2383. Glossy dark brown patina. Obverse weakly struck as usual and with a few edge splits, otherwise, very fine.
