SICILY. Akragas. Circa 465/4-446 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.18 g, 4 h). ΑΚΡΑC - ΑΝΤΟΣ (partially retrograde) Eagle standing left with closed wings. Rev. Crab within a shallow circular incuse. SNG ANS 972. Westermark 348.2 (O10/R34) (this coin). Clear and lightly toned. Die break on the reverse, otherwise. Good very fine.

From the Stoecklin Collection, bought from Bank Leu in Zürich, ex Peus 250, 15 March 1954, 116, from the Lejeune Collection, Rosenberg 72, 11 July 1932, 159 and that of F. S. Benson, Sotheby, 3 February 1909, 171 bought by Bourgey.
