PLANCVS Victory (or winged Aurora) flying to right, her head turned slightly to left, holding reins and conducting the four rearing horses of the Sun. Babelon (Plautia) 15. Crawford 453/1a. Sydenham 959. Toned and struck on a broad flan; with a ferocious Gorgoneion. Very fine.
