SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, 175-164 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 8.59 g, 1 h), Antiochia ad Daphne (ad Orontem), quasi-municipal coinage, circa 168-164. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos IV to right. Rev. ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΠΡ-ΟΣ ΔΑΦΝΗΙ Zeus standing front, head to left, holding wreath in his right hand; to outer left and right, monograms. HGC 9, 656. SC 1416.7 (but not recorded with this right monogram). Obverse struck, otherwise, very fine.

ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ AΛEΞANΔPOY Apollo standing front, head to left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on bow; Φ to inner left. HGC 9, 891. SC 1786.2. Slightly rough on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΛEΞANΔPOY Prow of galley to left; to right, horizontal anchor. CSE 197. SC 1814.2. An extremely elusive issue; glossy dark green surfaces. Very fine.
