LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 400-340 BC. Didrachm or nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.40 g, 10 h). Youthful head of Dionysos to left, wearing a diadem adorned with a maeander pattern and upright ivy-leaves; below chin, E. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Barley ear with leaf to left. HN III 1531. Noe 454 (same dies). SNG ANS 344 (this obverse die). Toned and of good style. Good fine.
