Β]ΛΑΥΝΔΕΩΝ // ΑΠΟΛΛΩ[ΝI] / ΘΕΟΓΕ[Ν] Eagle standing left, head turned backwards; kerykeion to left, grain ear to right. SNG Copenhagen 61. SNG von Aulock 8221. Dark brown patina with some roughness. Good very fine.

LYDIA. Magnesia ad Sipylum. 2nd-1st century BC. (Bronze, 15.5 mm, 4.46 g, 12 h). Head of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver over her shoulder. Rev. ΜΑΓΝHΤΩΝ ΣΙΠΥΛΟΥ Zeus and Hermes standing facing one another, holding sceptre between them; in field to left, monogram of ΔΥM monogram to the middle left field. BMC 6-7. SNG Copenhagen 241 var. (monogram). Greenish-black patina. Very fine.
