Head of youthful Herakles in lion's skin headdress to right. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated to left on throne, holding eagle on his outstretched right hand and long scepter with his left; to left, Λ over torch. Price 643b (same dies as plate coin). Waggoner, Audoleon issue I, 8 (same dies). Clear, attractively toned, well centered and well struck, with a bold, high relief head of Herakles of powerful style. Nearly extremely fine.
