KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, the Cappadocian, AD 6-12. Chalkous (Bronze, 14.5 mm, 2.20 g, 12 h), Artagigarta (?). Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara decorated with three eagles. Rev. [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ] ΤΙ-ΓΡΑΝΟΥ [ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ] Eagle standing to right. ACV 165. CAA 155. Kovacs 184 (same dies). Very rare with eagle to right and one of the few examples with traces of the inscription. Edge splits, otherwise, very fine.
