Constans II, with Constantine IV, Heraclius, and Tiberius, 641-668. 40 Nummia or Follis (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.42 g, 7 h), Constantinople, 1st officina, 666-668. Bust of Constans facing, wearing helmet with cross ornament and holding globus cruciger; to right, K. Rev. Facing and crowned busts of Heraclius, Constantine and Tiberius; to left, above, and to right, respectively, each holding a globus cruciger; below large A within large M. DOC 88a. MIB 177. SB 1014. A splendid example with an attractive dark green glossy patina. This type was used as a host coin for lot 899. Some flatness, otherwise, good very fine.
