Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 3.46 g, 12 h), barbarous imitation, struck circa 4th to early 5th century, north Danube area. Degenerated legend Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine to left. Rev. Degenerated legend Two Victories standing facing one another, holding shield on altar. Cf. CNG E-404, lot 577. Attractive green patina. Reverse slightly off-center, otherwise, very fine.
