Diva Faustina Senior, died 140/1. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.22 g, 6 h), struck under her husband, Antoninus Pius, Rome, struck to commemorate her death in AD 140, 146-161. DIVA FAVSTINA Veiled and draped bust of Diva Faustina to right, her hair in a bun bound with pearls at the top of her head. Rev. AETERNITAS Aeternitas (or Providentia) standing left, holding globe and billowing veil. Cohen 32. RIC 351 (Antoninus pius). Lustrous. Scratch on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
