KINGS OF SOPHENE. Mithradates I, 2nd half of 2nd century BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 16.5 mm, 4.29 g, 9 h), Arkathiokerta(?). Diademed head of Mithradates I to left, wearing bashlyk. Rev. Lion running to right. ACV -. CAA -. Kovacs - (but cf. 28 for a different denomination). Apparently unpublished in the standard references. Extremely rare, possibly unique; struck on a broad flan. Reverse weakly struck or incomplete die, otherwise, good very fine.
