Lucius Verus, 161-169. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33.5mm, 25.13 g 12), Rome, 161. IMP CAES L AVREL VERVS AVG Laureate head of Lucius Verus to right. Rev. CONCORD AVGVSTOR TR P / COS II / S - C Marcus Aurelius, on the left, standing right, and Lucius Verus, on the right, standing left, clasping hands. Banti 21. BMC 859. RIC 1284. A well-struck example in high relief and with a dark green and brown patina with some red. Two very minor flan cracks, otherwise, extremely fine.
