CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 302 BC. Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.82 g, 3 h), Kon.. magistrate. Youthful nude jockey crowning himself while riding horse to right; below, ΣΑ above Ionic capital. Rev. TΑΡΑΣ /KON Phalanthos seated astride dolphin to left, holding serpent. HN III 942. Vlasto 657 (same dies). Well struck and clear. Usual die faults on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
