SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16.5 mm, 1.07 g, 12 h), imitation struck in Commagene, time of Samos II to Mithradates I, circa 140-70 BC. Diademed head of Demetrios to right. Rev. (barbarized inscription) Cornucopia. HGC 9, 811. SC 1774. A centered example, almost Celtic in style. Good very fine.
