KINGS OF SOPHENE. Arsames I, circa 255-225 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.53 g, 12 h), third series. Diademed and draped bust of Arsames to right, wearing cylindrical tiara decorated with jewels. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΡΣΑΜΟΥ Herakles standing facing, holding club. ACV 7. Alram 171. CSC 6. Kovacs 7 (this obverse die). Well centered. Obverse struck from a worn as usual die, otherwise, very fine.
