Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 25 mm, 12.15 g, 1 h), Rome, c. 132-135. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. FELICITATI AVG / COS III P P / S - C Galley to left, with five rowers and a steersman; at the prow, slanting mast with sail; at the stern, vexillum and standard. BMC 1461 var. Cohen 667. RIC 719. A pretty coin with an attractive dark brown patina. Some inobtrusive corrosion pitting, otherwise, extremely fine.
