Rev. ΚΥΒΕΡΝΗΤΗΣ Ι.Α. ΚΑΠΟΔΙΣΤΡΙΑΣ 1830᛫ around a wreath of olive and laurel enclosing the denomination, 10 / ΛΕΠΤΑ in two lines. Chase 265 (D/d). Divo 3a. Karamitsos 15.5. KM 3. IONIA. Ephesus. Gallienus, 253-268. (Bronze, 27 mm, 8.63 g, 6 h). ΑΥΤ Κ ΠΟ ΛΙΚΙ ΓΑΛΛΙΗΝΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. Rev. ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ Α ΑϹΙΑϹ Artemis as huntress standing facing, head turned to right, holding bow in left and with drawing arrow from quiver at shoulder with her right hand; to left, tree; at her feet, hound to right; star. BMC 386 (same dies). Karwiese 1084. RPC X, — (unassigned; ID 61065). Attractive earthen highlights. Very rare type and probably best known. Some small scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
