Rev. 1/2 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ / (owl) 1843 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 14d. Karamitsos 97. KM 19. KINGS OF COMMAGENE. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, with Iotape, AD 38-circa 72. Dichalkon (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.74 g, 6 h), early series, Samosata, c. 38-40 or 41-54. Capricorn to right, with star above to left. Rev. KOMMAΓHNΩN Four-pointed tiara. ACV 236. Kovacs 243. RPC I 3862. Well centered and with a sharp depiction of an Armenian tiara. Lovely black patina. About very fine.
