THRACE. Perinthos. Circa 217-200 BC. (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.72 g, 12 h). Jugate heads of Serapis and Isis to right. Rev. ΠΕΡΙΝ / ΘΙΩΝ Apis bull standing left; below, two foreparts of horses joined together; to left, uncertain monogram. HGC 3.2, 1620. Schönert-Geiss, Perinthos 46 var. (monogram). SNG Copenhagen 723 var. (monogram). Scarce. Rough surfaces and minor encrustations, otherwise, about very fine.
