NORTHEAST GAUL, Veliocassi. 50-30 BC. Unit (Bronze, 16 mm, 1.89 g, 6 h), 'au taureau' type, Suticos. [SVTICOS] Head of male (?) warrior, wearing crested helmet; behind, floral ornament. Rev. Bull standing to right, over boar standing to right; both surrounded by by floral ornaments. D&T 648. De la Tour 7363. Scheers 611. Particularly uncommon; fine olive green patina and very attractive for type. Flakes in patina close to edge, otherwise, good very fine.
