ΚΡΗΤΙΚΗ ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ Crowned and mantled shield bearing the coat of arms of the Cretan State, supported by two Herakles; below, 1 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ flanked by the privy marks cornucopia (for the Mint Director) on the left and and, on the right, a torch (for the Engraver General, Henri-Auguste Patey, 1896-1930).
