Rev. -10- / ΓΑΖΕ'ΤΑΙΣ / 1801- in three lines, the whole within a circular chain border. Cf. Karamitsos I.5b and Lambros 5 (same dies, but control mark " - " next to date unnoted). KM 4. Graded by NGC "AU 58 BN". Top pop in NGC and PCGS. Cert number: 2909008-008.

L - IZ The Pharos lighthouse surmounted by a lantern topped by a statue of Poseidon; at the two visible corners of the tower, a statue of a triton blowing a trumpet. Dattari (Savio) 1933. Geissen 1082. K&G 32.557. RPC III 5853. With a clear view of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Dark patina. Minor traces of cleaning, otherwise, very fine.
