ΟΘΩΝ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Mature head of Otho to left. Rev. 1/4 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ / 1851 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 17a. Karamitsos 92. KM 33. Attractively toned and rare, but plugged. Graded by NGC "AU details / plugged". Cert number: 2908887-014.

L IB Nine-oared galley moving to left; mid deck, Serapis enthroned to left, extending his right hand and holding a scepter in his left; before him to left, at the prow, Isis Pharia standing left and holding a sail; behind him to right, Demeter standing left, holding a torch in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left. Dattari (Savio) -. Geissen 488 var (different bust). K&G 27.195 var different bust). RPC III 4301A (this coin). With clear types and an attractive reddish-brown patina. Slightly irregular flan, some roughness and traces of careful cleaning, otherwise, good very fine.
