Rev. 10 ΛΕΠΤΑ 1843 Denomination and date in three lines within a laurel wreath tied above and below. Divo 18e. Karamitsos 76. KM 17. Graded by NGC "AU details / environmental damage". BRUTTIUM. Rhegion. Circa 435-425 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.80 g, 12 h). Lion's mask facing. Rev. RECI-NON Iokastos, bearded and draped from the waist, seated left on backless stool, holding long scepter in his right hand and left resting on hip; all within olive wreath. Herzfelder 16 (D9/R14). HN III 2471. SNG ANS 644 (same dies). Toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
