[TIMHN] Cow standing left, looking back to nudge suckling calf below; in exergue, monogram; countermark depicting laureate head of Apollo to left in circular incuse. Rev. AΠ[OΛ] / [ΔAMO]/[ΦΩN]/[TOΣ] Double stellate pattern within double linear quadrangle. Ceka 115; Maier 36; HGC 3, 4. The remarkable countermark on the obverse suggests that this drachm was retarriffed to circulate with the heavier drachms of Apollonia with the types of the head of Apollo/three nymphs (HGC 3.1, 8. Maier 160). Porous, otherwise, good fine.
