Diademed head of Vādfradād to right, wearing kyrbasia or satrapal hat, with flap down to form a visor, and pendant earring. Rev. wtprdt / prtrk' zy 'lhy' / br ("Vadfradad, Frataraka of the Gods, Son" in Aramaic) Fire-temple of Ahura-Mazda; above, half-figure of Ahura-Mazda to left; to left, King standing right, his right hand raised in adoration and holding his bow resting on the ground with left; to right, standard. Alram 533. BMC Arabia 1. K&M 2/17. van't Haaff, Persis, Type 533/535/538. Struck from a fresh reverse die. Somewhat rough obverse surface, otherwise, good very fine.
