ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / A 1868 Youthful head of George I to left; below truncation, in tiny letters, BAPPE. Rev. • ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ • Crowned and mantled coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece; below, 2 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ. Divo -. Karamitsos T.42 = KM E23 (this coin, but not illustrated). Graded by NGC "PF 64". ΑΘΕ Owl standing right with head facing; to left, olive spray; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1624. Seltman Group M, p. 206 and pl. XXII, λλ (same dies ?). Rare early drachm. About very fine.
